The town is moving forward with the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study for improvements to Lakeshore Road West from Mississaga Street to Dorval Drive.

Following extensive public consultation, we are now ready to share with you the final preferred design concept and get your feedback. The updated preferred design aligns with the recommendations of the Scenic Corridors Study completed by the town in 2020.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Public Information Centre will be held in an online format. Information materials will be available in a virtual consultation platform on oakville.ca and searching Lakeshore Road West Improvements, starting April 6, 2021. We encourage you to participate by reviewing the information materials and providing any comments on the online comment form by April 13.

Following this public consultation, the Class EA study team will review all the comments received and incorporate them into the Environmental Study Report (ESR), as required. A Notice of Completion will be issued once the ESR is finalized, and it will be made available online for review for a minimum 30-day review period.
