Busby Park launch ramp closed starting September 15, 2021

The Busby Park launch ramp (off of Water Street)  in Oakville Harbour will be closed to the public beginning September 15, 2021 for redevelopment. Improvements will include a new launch ramp, seawall, and landscaping.  

Conservation Halton, Ministry of Environment, Conservation & Park and Department of Fisheries and Oceans require the ramp be closed by September 15, 2021 and a turbidity curtain deployed to prevent fish from spawning within the construction zone.  Construction is anticipated to begin in November 2021 and completed by spring 2022.
