Special Council meeting called to consider resolution to protect Glen Abbey lands

Mayor Rob Burton has called a Special Council meeting on Tuesday, July 6 at 5:30 p.m. to respond to the request from Oakville MPP Stephen Crawford to make a formal request to the Province for a Ministerial Zoning Order (MZO) to protect the Glen Abbey lands. 

“I thank MPP Stephen Crawford for his letter in which he advised Oakville Town Council to formally request an MZO from the Province to protect the Glen Abbey lands,” said Mayor Burton. “A Special Council meeting has been called to consider such a request.” 

The Council meeting will be live streamed on the Town of Oakville's YouTube channel.
