The Town of Oakville is hosting an open house to present information on the Sheldon Creek Flood Mitigation Opportunities Study. The study assesses flood risks along the main branch and east branch of Sheldon Creek, establishes alternatives to mitigate them and determines the most viable and responsible solutions. This will be the second and final open house for the Sheldon Creek Flood Mitigation Opportunities Study. The town will be presenting the results of the evaluation of alternatives, and the preliminary preferred alternatives selected for flood mitigation. The open house is a drop-in format where staff and the town’s consulting team will be present to discuss the study and answer any questions. Members of the community are invited to share their own ideas on these studies during the open house.
If you are attending the Open House and have any accessibility needs, please let us know as soon as possible by contacting one of the project representatives or by filling out the accessible online feedback form.
