Notice of construction for Vista Promenade and Water’s Edge shoreline improvements

The works will include the use of heavy construction equipment. For your safety, pathways will be closed off to the public during construction. Primary access for construction equipment will be via Ontario St. where it meets East St. at the park entrance.

Access will be required at additional trail entry points further to the east periodically to facilitate construction of the portion of shoreline along Water’s Edge. Access to residential homes will not be affected.

Construction is scheduled to start at the end of November 2020 and the majority of works will be complete by the end of March 2021 (weather dependent). Restoration, trail improvements, and landscaping will be carried out when weather permits in spring 2021.
