Mayor Rob Burton postpones Council and Committee meetings

Today, Oakville Mayor Rob Burton exercised his authority under the Town’s Procedure By-law to postpone a number of Council and Committee meetings in response to the continuing COVID-19 emergency.

The following meetings will be postponed to the next regularly scheduled meeting dates:

"Heads of Council were briefed yesterday by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to expect changes soon to the provincial legislation governing municipalities," Mayor Burton said. "You may expect updates from Town Hall as soon as we have them. I want to thank the Minister for the way he is acting proactively to assist municipalities in this emergency."
