Connection in Action

The Connection in Action Halton Initiative is a community project focusing on adults aged 55 and older who are at risk of or currently experiencing social isolation.

The initiative includes partnerships with organizations who support older adults in Halton.

As our population continues to age and grow, it is increasingly important that people of all ages are aware of older adult social isolation and the negative impacts it can have on the health and well-being of our communities.

Friendship Luncheon

The Friendship Luncheon program combines lunch with a social outing. Clients (ages 80+) are picked up from their home, driven to the centre for lunch and an activity, and taken home again. You must pre-register for this program.

Check the Seniors Newsletter on the Seniors Programs page for specific dates, times, and locations.
